Radiant

Radiant was inspired by recent hikes to Snow Lake, high in the mountains, where the water is cold and crystalline. After swimming, I would sit beneath the hot sun, soaking in its warmth and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Absorbing the beauty and vitality of the natural world, the female figure becomes radiant with its energy. The boundary between the self and the living landscape begins to dissolve, until the body seems not merely surrounded by nature, but part of it.
