Painting became a way for me to come back to myself after I had gone very far away from who I was.

Through my art I try to give form to what is happening inside me and bring it into contact with the world outside. I paint dreams, memories, landscapes, myths, symbols, strange images that come without explanation.

The skill matters to me because my inner world is much richer than what my hands can naturally produce. So I keep learning how to make my hands capable of giving form to what is living inside.

For me, painting is a conversation—with myself, with the unconscious, with the world, and with whatever exists somewhere between them.
